Trail to the Halkett Viewing Bluffs

Difficulty: Easy to Moderate

About: This trail is in the Halkett Bay Marine Provincial Park which can be accessed from the public dock in the Marine Park, or from the south end of the Brigade Bay subdivision road (Mount Artaban Road), or from the public dock at Camp Fircom on a diversion trail around the main camp area that begins at a signpost in the parking lot located straight up the road from the dock.

Time: The approximate hiking time from the Marine Park dock is 30 minutes, one hour from the dock at Camp Fircom, and one hour from the south end of the Brigade Bay subdivision road.

Markers: White on the trail between the public docks at the Marine Park and Camp Fircom.

Remember - Stay on the trail,  particularly on the diversion trail around Camp Fircom. Please keep your dog on a leash in the Marine Park, on the Camp Fircom diversion trail, and on the Brigade Bay subdivision road.

Facilities: There are several campsites in the Provincial Park. Pack in and pack out.

Features: Magnificent view from the Bluffs over Halkett Bay and beyond to the mainland mountains.
